1. Principles and Rules, Foreseen by the Position about the Conflict of Interests

Journal "Preschool Education: Global Trends" is oriented on an account in its activity of the next principles and rules, foreseen by the position about the conflict of interests in a triad "Author – Reviewer – Editor":

  • The trust of public to objectivity of the process of criticizing and quality of the published articles in a great deal depends on how the possible conflicts of interests are taken into account at criticizing and decision-making about a publication.
  • The conflict of interests can arise up in case that a reviewer, member of editorial board or employee of release, relates to the worker which can subjectively influence on a decision about a publication.
  • The conflicts of interests can entail relationships with an employer, domestic copulas, attraction in financial relations and others like that. Conflicts can also arise up as a result of academic competition, personal liking and antipathies, etc.

The release of Journal foresees an obligatory receipt from all authors and reviewers of the Provisions on a Conflict-of-Interest about any existent conflicts of interests which can influence at presentation and preparation of manuscript to printing.

2. Rights and Obligations of an Author

1. The authors of the articles have a right to use materials of the published article:

  1. in lectures on conferences or for education;
  2. in dissertation work;
  3. in the fragments of the next articles.

2. The authors of the scientific articles have an obligation:

  1. to sign a corresponding form about the conflict of interests;
  2. to give confirmation, that the given article was not before published in other journals, including by other languages (journal «Prechool Education: Global Trends» owns an exclusive right on publication of original works, nowhere published before).

3. Rights and Obligations of a Reviewer

1. A reviewer has a right to refuse from expert evaluation of the scientific article, without explaining the reasons of refusal, except reports about the conflict of interests.

2. Reviewers have an obligation:

  1. to sign a corresponding form about the conflict of interests;
  2. to expose to the members of release any conflicts of
    interests, which can influence on their opinion about the article (publishers must be informed in time about the possible conflicts of interests, in order to regulate operatively the process of criticizing);
  3. not to use in the own interest knowledge about researches, described in the article before publication.

4. Rights and Obligations of the Release

1. The Release of Journal has a Right:

  1. to take away or decline the materials of manuscripts;
    to take to general known, in thereby to place the article fully or partly in a network of the Internet on the web page of journal and other informative resources;
  2. to use the metadatas (titke, name of author (legal owner), annotation, bibliographic materials and others like that) of the article in a way of dissemination and taking to general known, treatments and systematizations, and also pluggings into the international scientifically-metrical databases and informative systems;
  3. to keep and process the personal data of an author without limitation of term with the aim of their including to the database under the Law of Ukraine No. 2297-VІ «About the Protection of the Personal Data» from 01.06.2010 (last name, first name, patronymic; information about scientific qualification (scientific degree, scientific rank);
  4. information about place of work and position; pin data of authors; information about the presence of the printed works in the national and international databases of scientific literature with the aim of their further treatment for realization of searching operations in these databases).

2. The release of Journal has an Obligation:

  1. to sign a corresponding form about the conflict of interests;
  2. to take measures in relation to the removal of any conflicts of interests in case of their appearing;
  3. to protect the rights of intellectual ownership of the authors of manuscripts;
  4. to accept all possible measures for warning of violation of copyrights by the third persons.

5. Responsibility of Author

The Authors Bear the Responsibility for:

  1. pointing of potential conflicts of interests, which can influence on a decision about the publication of their work;
  2. objectivity of opening the sourcings of a research which is published;
  3. correctness of writing of the personal data (last name, first name, patronymic;
  4. information about scientific qualification (scientific degree, scientific rank);
  5. information about place of work and position; pin data of authors);
  6. observance of foreseen by the current legislation of authorial obligations.

6. Responsibility of Reviewer

Reviewers Bear the Responsibility for:

  1. objectivity and unprejudice of the maintenance of scientific article estimation;
  2. competent, comprehensive and sound analysis of both positive internals of the articles and concrete unsupervisions;
  3. timeliness.

7. Responsibility of Release

A Release Bears the Responsibility for:

  1. timely producing of journal;
  2. placing of the articles fully or partly in a network of the Internet on the web page of journal and other informative resources;
  3. quality of materials, published in journal.
